At Neutroon we are pleased to invite you to join the Telco Engineering R&D team covering the
position of Telco Researcher.
The main responsibilities for this position are (but not limited to):
● Deeply understand the Neutroon architecture and own the complete deployment
process with the ability to automate and reducing the deployment time.
● Managing the awarding of public funding R&D projects: from the analysis of the calls,
alignment with the product development and Neutroon’s innovation strategy.
● Be the main point of technical contact for the customer, and project partners of the
assigned projects, understanding the requirements, clarifying the business and
technical needs, and participate in project meetings and reviews with the European
Commission. Being able to coordinate specific projects, WPs or tasks.
● Collaborate in PoC deployments on the field, making sure all components are setup
correctly to demonstrate our product to customers.
● Supporting or leading the integration of new vendors both in Core and RAN domains.
● Propose, develop and implement improvements to the telco components of the
platform.
● Understand in-depth the cloud native functionality as well as the O-RAN
standardization efforts.
● Assist interns and other team members towards achieving the team goals
● Taking part in meetings, webinars, seminars, visits, panels, fairs, exposition, exhibitions,
and other events, online or in-person, with ability to travel upon agreement with the
Company.
Skills:
● Be proactive, communicative, and inquisitive
● Holding a PhD degree in telecommunications or related field
● Being familiar with technologies and protocols for wireless communications
● Excellent writing skills
● Fluent in English, Spanish is a plus
This position will report directly to the CTO.
For this strategic role, it is required full-time dedication and the position will be based in
Barcelona with possibility of remote working. The workweek will be forty working hours with
the resting periods established by the Spanish law.
Vacation days will be 22 working days yearly also per Spanish regulation. Option of
permanent contract, starting as soon as possible, with a trial period of 6 months.
