The Communication Systems and Networks (CSN) research group at Mid Sweden University invite applications for a postdoc position working on integrated sensing and communication for future wireless networks (winter/summer/fall 2024). The ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related subject, with a strong background in statistical signal processing and wireless communication (PHY layer). Solid knowledge in ML/AI, programming, radio propagation, and experimental research is a merit.

*Responsibilities:***

 * Conduct research on integrated sensing and communication for future
   wireless networks, including topics such as:
     o Intelligent sensing and signal processing for spectrum sensing,
       localization, and tracking
     o Design and optimization of communication waveforms and protocols
       for integrated sensing and communication
     o Development of new algorithms and techniques for ML/AI-powered
       sensing and communication
 * Collaborate with other members of the lab on research and
   development projects
 * Publish research findings in top academic conferences and journals
 * Present research findings at conferences and workshops
 * Supervise graduate and undergraduate students

*Qualifications:***

 * Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a
   related subject
 * Strong background in statistical signal processing and wireless
   communication (PHY layer)
 * Solid knowledge in ML/AI, programming, radio propagation, and
   experimental research
 * Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 * Ability to work independently and as part of a team
 * At least one IEEE/ACM transaction published
